Eat well, exercise, take good care of your body!
Because of the guilt and condemnation that hovers around people, we always find a person to blame for whatever is happening in our lives. Unfortunately, this person we always blame (whether we believe in him or not) is normally God. However, this is actually a pinnacle of ignorance on show.
Everywhere around us, we see people being punished for any wrong thing they do. Surprisingly some even punish themselves when no one does. What a pity? We find a few instances where people are experiencing forgiveness especially in the environment where people are not aware of their forgiveness from God.
Covid-19 comes in a very unique way throughout the whole human race, except probably in the pygmies in the Congo forests. It has affected the rich and the poor, black or white, wise and the unwise, all religions and any faction in the world.
People did not care so much until it reached their vicinity. Some kept declaring that their nations are loved more by God until Covid-19 reached them and the narrative changed to “WHY GOD? ” Even unbelievers (including atheists) have rather called onto a God whom they hear about.
Is this really a punishment from God? How do we imagine a God who created us to destroy us? God who delights in inflicting pain and agony to people? God who is very comfortable in sorrow? God who masterminds the creation of a virus? God who gives health to the people who are inflicting pain on others? Surely If a parent can not kill his/her own child, human as he/she is what about God? Oooooops.
Well, this is the truth. God is love! And not just any kind of love, but AGAPE, a self-giving love. God is not here to take away anything from anyone. God is a restorative and not destructive God. People who come up with this idea of Covid19 being a punishment are those who look at God in the lenses of the Old covenants, where afflictions came in due to forfeiting the covenants made with God. God always remained faithful to his word but the man always proved a successful failure in keeping any of these commands, yet terms and conditions apply. God has always been love and forever will be.
His love is one that liberates and gives us freedom. His reason for anything is love because it’s his nature. When he loved man, he freedman. God trusted and still trusts us. He is not a man who first needs to prove us out, he trusts his product. So, God has allowed man to exercise his free will since its part of the likeness that we shared with God. God has given the earth to men. We choose how we rule this world. If indeed God was ruling this world, considering the chaos on earth, then God would be a failure which he is not. Out of love he has given us this earth to rule out, to govern it, replenish it, and make it fruitful. The earth today is what we have made it.
Many assertions say that Covid-19 was created in the lab, other assertions say that it came naturally through food. Regardless of how science tries to explain the source, it is never from God. When you decide to commit suicide, no one says God has killed you. You have killed yourself. Covid-19 is simply a way how humans are killing themselves. Using the wisdom they have and proper planning, a man was able to contain this without allowing it to spread. Personal responsibility is key in this.
Of course, all this is a scheme of the devil to kill, steal and destroy what God has freely given. Sickness is never from God. Sickness is a product of the devil. God is, on the contrary, THE HEALER!
Where is God in Covid-19?
God is in the police of restoring. God made provision for all we ever needed way back even before we ever thought we needed it. God made provision for healing in Christ Jesus. All illnesses that have ever been and will ever be, are catered for in the stripes of Jesus. God has also made provision for the people who are to bring the good news of his healing everywhere. His Holy Spirit is alive and working out such all Jesus purchased for us on the cross actually manifests. God is not testing anyone, he knows everything and everyone. God has been and will always be a healer. This pandemic in a way is an opportunity for the believers to affirm the real nature of God as the healer. When the devil brings ashes, God makes ashes into incense. When the devil brings in graves, God turns them into gardens of flowers and life. There is no pain or harm that is ever going to come that God has not made provision for. God is not reactive but proactive (he doesn’t react to, but has seen ahead and made things available).
It is the responsibility of believers to bring down every stronghold and mental argument that is against the truth of God. We ought to expose every lie in this time that says God is a killer, God doesn’t love us, God is punishing us. All these are lies of the devil. God is super happy with his children, super pleased with his Children. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. The sacrifice of Jesus was enough, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. You are above Covid-19. The Lord has lifted up your standard! You are far above any principality or scheme. Nothing can snatch you from the ALMIGHTY HANDS OF GOD!

Covid-19 is not a punishment from God but just a result of man’s stubbornness and disobedience which has led to scientists trying to prove that they can do anything. It has been all through that it was made in some lab in China but out of some mistake went out of control and ended up spreading all over. God gave man free will and when it’s not guided by the Holy Spirit, the results are always negative or even disastrous and this is where covid-19 comes in. If it was a punishment from God, is he the one telling people not to vaccinate, not to wear masks, not to keep social distancing, not to wash hands? It is not a punishment from God but a result of man’s misuse of his free will.
